I did a taster session in 2018 and fell in love with clay! I immediately did a 10 week course, followed by another 5 weeks. I bought a second hand kiln, and my dad (an engineer) set about making me a wheel! I now primarily throw my pieces, but have recently started to enjoy altering them to add interest. I have also started making up glazes from raw materials, which is very exciting and nowhere near as daunting as I thought it might be!
