After attending a pottery course with CUP ceramics in Hereford in Oct 2019, I decided to splash out on a Rhode wheel and electric kiln which arrived just before lockdown this March. And then I became obsessed with messing around with clay and glazes. I'm not a maker that has deep connections or inspired by anything in particular, and usually don't mind what shape my pot becomes. I just go with the flow and have fun. Sometimes I am joyously happy with the results, and other times I'm a little gloomy that the 'flow' perhaps became a puddle. And of course I'm rather in love with blue. Well, maybe you could say I'm inspired by the colour blue.
