My work is mainly functional and is made to be held, used and loved. I make my own slips and glazes and introduce found clays and different ashes to traditional glaze making materials. Combined with the wood used for the firing and even the weather conditions this leads to an almost unpredictable outcome, making each piece, each firing somewhat unique. It is pure alchemy
