David Barber

I enrolled in evening classes in Croesyceiliog under the tutelage of Jane Rees-Parfitt in September 2015, so very new to pottery. I am a mechanical design engineer by trade. I very much enjoy slab building embracing the construction challenge of geometric shapes, designs and manipulating clay with its associated constraints. Part of the fun is to devise a concept or shape and then articulate it into a workable piece, leaving the recipient to decide the final use.
