Demonstration by Bill Rolls

We are excited to announce that Bill Rolls has found a gap in his calendar to demonstrate and run an in-person hands on surface decoration workshop to his fellow South Wales Potters members.

He has been busy in the last year, firstly as a contestant on the last series of Pottery Throwdown, where he reached the semi finals, and secondly making his beautifully decorated functional pots in his new workshop in Hereford, and lastly attending pottery shows around the UK selling his work.

Bill works with coloured slips, underglazes as well as using traditional mocha decorating techniques.

We are holding the event at Peak, which is an arts centre in Crickhowell with plenty of parking and great facilities for hosting workshops.

SWP will be providing tea and coffee, but attendees will need to bring some food for a shared lunch which is a staple of SWP events.

There is a only a nominal fee to attend which covers the costs of the bisque pots and decorating materials.
