Working in clay is the most enjoyable, rewarding and absorbing thing I do. The transformation of producing and creating images from a material dug up from the earth is so satisfying. My creativity works best in a three-dimensional way, making sculptures, which are rooted, in the human spirit.

The faces I produce are all different each containing their own unique life force within each piece.

My work is very spontaneous working directly onto the clay with no clear preconceptions of what will emerge. But each face is different and individual but all are rooted in Asian and African influences.

My pieces vary in size. The wall pieces are on average about 10" long and 6" wide, but the free standing masks and faces can measure up to 3’ high.

I am open to commissions.
