I first became hooked on pottery, when I was introduced to clay at an evening class over 20 years ago. That initial “addiction” led to a career change – and my becoming a full time potter teacher. The circle is now complete, as I am now teaching adults in evening classes.
I work mainly in stoneware, making thrown and hand-built individual pieces. I particularly like making garden sculptural pieces, such as: sundials, birdbaths, planters and large jardinieres. These are all individually designed with the buyer in mind, and are made of highly fired frost proof clay.
My work has been displayed in venues all over Wales. Also it has been at Hampton Court Palace Gardens, and the German Garden Festival in Stuttgart.
I am happy to take commissions.
